This style of leg is similar to the tapered leg, however incorporates a chamfer on the edges, giving a more elegant feel. Dating between 1800 to 1870, this was a well used style of leg, however not as common as the  tapered leg. ” PIEDS EFFILEE avec  CHANFREIN .
