A set of 8 French vintage painted chairs with rush seats. The term “shabby chic” is banded around all the time, however these chairs are in their original cream paint, with a light yellow wash as a base coat. The paintwork is distressed, commensurate with their age and has not been falsely applied. The backs have spindles set out in the form of a corn sheaf, making them both practical, yet elegant.
The seats are of generous proportions and are in good condition for the age of the chairs. Although looking quite delicate, thay are a good robust set of chairs, capable of every day usage.
